Leech’s Biography
|
||
|
Other Alias: None Group Affiliation(s): The Morlocks
(former), X-Terminators II (former), and Generation-X (former). First Appearance: Uncanny X-Men #179 Physique:
Leech
is eight years old with green skin, no hair, yellow eyes that contain no
pupils, and numerous unsightly bumps on his head. He is 4’ 2” and he weighs
67 pounds. Powers:
Leech
has an invisible aura that surrounds his body and the area within a certain
radius of his position. All super-power beings, including mutants and
conventional superheroes, that are inside this aura will lose their abilities
for as long as they are in Leech’s vicinity. He is unable to turn off he
effects of his aura or the aura itself, but with practice and strain he can
control how far it reaches. History:
Leech’s
past is a murky one in the beginning. It is believed his human parents
abandoned him because of his mutant appearance, but was soon found and
rescued by the mutant known as Caliban. Caliban took Leech with him into the “Alley”,
otherwise known as the Morlock Tunnels. Leech lived in the tunnels, grateful
for a home but lonely, until a woman named Annalee adopted him. An assassin
named Scalphunter had killed Annalee’s biological children, but Leech and
Annalee successfully filled the voids in each other’s lives. Unbeknownst to the Morlocks, they became a target of the Marauders, a group of assassins sent out by Mr. Sinister. The events that would take place soon thereafter would be known as the “Mutant Massacre”. In this Massacre, Annalee was killed and once again Leech became an orphan. Friends at Power Pack and X-Factor saved Leech from the Marauders, who would’ve died in the Massacre. Under the care
and training of X-Factor, Leech met a mutant by the name of Artie Maddicks.
Artie seemed to be an identical twin of Leech except for his pink skin and
different mutant abilities. Leech and Artie were enrolled in the St. Simon
Boarding School with six other mutants and were trained by X-Factor to be the
next generation of “X-Terminators”. However, Leech and Artie were kidnapped by
‘demons’ during the Inferno Saga, but were soon rescued. Eventually they
joined a new team of mutants, headed by Professor Xavier and the X-Men, and
facilitated by Emma Frost and Sean Cassidy known as Generation-X. However,
Generation-X soon disbanded after a number of horrible incidents and Leech,
although known to be alive, has yet to be seen again. |

Synch’s Biography –Deceased-
|
||
|
Other Alias: None Group Affiliation(s): Generation-X
(former). First Appearance: X-Men, Volume 2,
#36 Physique:
Synch,
a 16-year-old African American male, has brown skin, brown eyes, and black
hair (shaved bald). He is 5’11” and 156 pounds. He possesses normal strength
for someone his age and size that engages in strenuous, daily exercise. Powers:
Synch
holds the ability to become “in sync” with mutants in his vicinity. When he
becomes in sync with the mutant he is literally able to copy their mutant
abilities and bio-signature, enabling him to use their abilities. When he
uses other’s abilities he normally uses them better than the original person
can. When he becomes in sync with another mutant a multi-colored aura
surrounds his body. This aura is a result of the energies he is absorbing
splitting into prism-filtered light. He can also use this aura to locate
mutants and use their bio-signature as a homing device. It’s theorized, that
if Synch is not really dead, he will be able to retain and control all the
powers he becomes in sync with. History:
Everett’s
history can be described as a normal one. He was a straight-A student, living
at home with two married parents in Missouri. He was mildly popular, a sports
player, but most definitely liked by everyone he knew and everyone who knew
of him. Life was perfect for Everett until his mutant abilities manifested
himself. Unbeknownst to him, he became in sync with the mutant known as Sean
Cassidy (Banshee of the X-Men) and he let out an ear-piercing scream that devastated
his neighborhood’s homes and windows. Banshee had come
to Missouri to protect Everett from the threat of the Phalanx, and alien
being looking to assimilate the planet into its ‘database’. Synch, after
being captured by the Phalanx to be experimented on, helped destroy the alien
along with Banshee, Jubilee, Sabretooth, and the White Queen. Afterwards, he
assisted them in the rescue of Husk, M, Skin, and Blink who were in captivity
under a man named Harvest in California. After those
adventures he agreed to join a group of teenage mutants called Generation-X
where he quickly became a favorite to all the students and teachers. As a
matter of fact, because he so easily gets along with everyone he meets, it
has been speculated that it may be a part of his ‘in sync’ mutant ability. In
Generation-X he has fought alongside of his peers against Emplate and has had
multiple love interests, including Gaia, Jubilee, and Monet St. Croix. Everett supposedly
died after being unable to successfully disarm a bomb. As with all Marvel
characters, it’s possible he’s not dead. |
